Collected data

When you visit our website, data are collected automatically and saved in log files on our host server. These data may contain a personal reference. Access log files and error log files are saved on the server. These log files contain the IP address of the visitor and therefore contain personal data. The following data are collected:

- The time at the point of access
- The volume of data sent in bytes
- The source/reference from which you originally visited the page
- The web browser used
- The operating system used
- The IP address used

In the future, the IP address will only be saved in anonymised form; in this context, the last octet will be replaced with XXX. The log files are collected and saved for the purpose of maintaining the server operations and making statistical assessments. Apart from the log files, the aforementioned host does not save any other data.

On our website, it is possible to contact us using the contact form or by email. In this context, personal data that pertains to you will be saved and processed for communication purposes. The data to be collected for this purpose (name, email address) will not be forwarded to third parties. A combination of such data with other data to be collected on this website does not take place. If you are already a customer of our company, the data may be saved in the scope of our Customer Relations Management (CRM). The basis for the collection of the data according to Art. 6, para 1 (1) GDPR is as follows: the consent that you provide (lit. a); the processing of the information for the fulfilment of a contract or the initiation of a contract (lit. b), the possible fulfilment of a legal obligation (lit. b) as well as the legitimate interest of our company in the communication that you have instigated (lit. f). Right to the restriction of processing:

You can request the restriction of processing from us in the following instances: In this case, we will give the data a non-disclosure notice and we will not subject it to any further processing. (1) Insofar as you dispute the accuracy of the personal data for the duration of our audit. (2) Insofar as you have requested erasure and we are unable to or are not permitted to carry out an erasure. (3) If you require the data for the establishment of claims but we are obliged to erase them because the purpose of the processing has been achieved. (4) Insofar as you have raised an objection to the processing and a final decision is yet to have been taken.

Objection to the processing:

Insofar as the processing of personal data regarding your person is based on legitimate interests on our part, you can object to the processing for reasons arising from your particular situation.

Right to data portability:

The competent supervisory authority for our company is: The State Commissioner for the Protection of Data and Freedom of Information of North Rhine Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen). The complaint can be raised at any supervisory authority irrespective of the responsibility.
